I need the 'Why'. It is important to me. Aimless activities and actions without any meaningful purpose will not work for me. I get up in the morning and smile as I look through the window because I have answers to my "Whys". The weather conditions outside may delay the flexing of my facial muscles for a minute or two but the "Why" wins in the end. How does your motivation work? Do you need answers to your why questions?
What is the basis of your approach to life. A positive or negative outlook may be directly related to what is happening in your life today but you still have your passion and your dreams as allies. Your personal circumstances and situations impact your emotions and mood but do not have to change your outlook in life. You can be optimistic even when you are going through tough times. Are you using your "Whys"? Why supplies the intent, the motivating factor that inspires you to be resilient and persevere.
The answers to your "why" provide the fuel to your motivation. Why gives you purpose, a reason to do the things you do. In the absence of perfect conditions, you rely on perseverance, courage, hope and optimism, all of which are supplied by the why factor. Unwavering in your pursuit of your goals, your behavior remains goal directed and persistent because you understand and embrace why you do what you do everyday.
