Eliminating the subjective element from what you perceive as truth requires an ongoing process of validation. Self-awareness is enlightening when you realize that truth may be polluted by your eyes. To minimize self-perception bias I am determined to investigate truth. Truth, in reality is a combination of what we all see because we all see the same things differently.
Truth can be subjective and if we rely solely on the evidence that our own eyes collect, our eyes can potentially mislead us. You may look at people, their situations and think that what you see is truth but that may be a false conclusion.
Is truth what you think because of what you see? It is important that we do not rely on our own judgment. Everything you are told or every report you are given will have elements of truth. You need to take what you hear a couple steps further.
- Be a collaborative evidence collector. Examine what you think is truth. Many reports of the same situation will give you a better understanding of the truth. Everyone may see something different or give some detail that no-one else saw.
