Is the phrase 'I am sorry' your defining philosophy or mantra?
Do your actions back up the apologetic verbiage?
While expressing regret for the things that we do is important, it is even more imperative that the apology is sincere.
Preferably, your actions and intentions are more definitive of who you are, providing the supportive evidence for your words.
You may not always succeed in your endeavor but you would have tried.
As you spontaneously burst out in apologetic rants remember that what truly matters is what you do after the apology is given.
